AJ GHENT & His Singing Guitar

June 20 @ 7:30 pm

$45.00

Fri. Jun. 20: AJ GHENT & His Singing Guitar  -7:30pm-  $45.00

Welcome To The World Of Ghent [j-ent]

AJ is breaking down walls and inspiring us all to look at music and life a little differently. AJ’s uniquely inspired Singing Guitar has its roots in the Sacred Steel musical style and African-American gospel traditions that developed out of a group of Pentecostal churches across the South. AJ’s great Uncle Willie Eason was the founder of the “Sacred Steel” rhythmic guitar style, his grandfather (Henry Nelson) played the sacred steel guitar and so did his father ( Aubrey Ghent Sr.) – Johns Creek Lifestyle Magazine June 2021

Aubrey Ghent Jr., professionally known as A.J. Ghent [ j-ent ], also known and billed as AJ Ghent [ j-ent ] & His Singing Guitar, is a 3rd generation singer, songwriter, producer, and slide guitar, lap, and pedal steel guitar player. AJ creates healing sounds that take listeners on a nostalgic melodic safari, painted with iridescent rhythmic patterns, led by the soulful melodies of his Singing Guitar, which is often compared to the voices and stylings of Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, and Prince.
